How it works…

  1. Game Overview This is a scavenger hunt game which utilizes: a. GPS locations b. QR codes c. SMS messages d. Digital images Typically all 4 of these functions are available on most current cell phones.
  2. Player Count There can be multiple players per game, but only 1 player (or team) has control of the game at a time.
  3. Difficulty easy med hard
  4. Prize Estimated value is more than something you’d find in a Cracker Jack box, but less than a diamond ring.
  5. Game Status This web page will show the current status of the game using the colored indicator shown above. The status indicator will be one of the following: a. Take Control - nobody has requested the first clue or their player time expired b. Control Taken - somebody has received their first clue c. Game Over - prize has been found or game time expired
  6. Game Duration The game will last a maximum of 1 week. It starts on a Friday between 12PM - 1PM ET and ends the following Friday at the same time unless the prize has been reported found.
  7. Update Interval When the game is on, the status will be updated here every day at a random time between 12:00PM - 1:00PM ET.
  8. Take Control If the Take Control button is visible, click it for further instructions. If you get control, you have until 12PM ET the following day to complete these tasks:
    1. Find all 3 clues Player will receive the first GPS location clue via reply SMS text message. Proceed to the location where you will find the first QR code clue. Add that clue to the example template below. Each clue will be combined to reveal the prize location. [EXAMPLE TEMPLATE HERE]
    2. Retrieve the prize Start with the Base Coordinates show above. Add the 3 location clues to create the final GPS coordinates. Proceed to that final location where the prize will be hidden.

  9. Missing Clue Have to complete a nearby challenge to get the clue
  10. Shenanigans Declared dgsdfsdfsd which leads to Game Over
  11. Control Taken If the game status indicator shows Control Taken check back here tomorrow between 12PM - 1PM ET for a chance to take control of the game. Remember to refresh the web page for the most recent status update.
